Free Power Platform tools
Twelve tools covering expressions, conditions, JSON, dates, Adaptive Cards, error handling, and more, all without opening the app. Nothing you type here is sent anywhere.
Dynamic Expressions
BUILD CORRECT EXPRESSIONS
FOR TRIGGERS, ACTIONS, LOOPS, AND VARIABLES
addDays(utcNow(), 1)
This builds standard Power Fx / Power Automate expression syntax client-side, nothing is sent anywhere. Values default to sensible placeholders, replace them with your own dynamic content references.
Filter Conditions & Trigger Conditions
ADD CONDITIONS, COMBINE WITH AND / OR
OUTPUT AS POWER FX OR A FLOW TRIGGER CONDITION
Field names and values are placeholders, swap them for your actual columns. This runs entirely in your browser.
Date Formatter
PICK A SOURCE AND A FORMAT
GENERATE THE formatDateTime EXPRESSION
SharePoint column formatting
CONDITIONAL BACKGROUND Colour
PASTE STRAIGHT INTO COLUMN FORMATTING
Paste this into a SharePoint list column's "Format this column" → Advanced mode.
SVG to Power Apps image
PASTE RAW SVG MARKUP
GET A DATA URI FOR THE IMAGE PROPERTY
Paste the result directly into a Power Apps Image control's Image property, or store it in a variable first.
JSON Schema Converter
PASTE A SAMPLE PAYLOAD
GET THE SCHEMA FOR A PARSE JSON ACTION
Tip: this generates the basic type structure. For extra validation, add a "format" key to any string property, for example "format": "email" or "format": "date", and a "description" key to document what the field is for. Neither is added automatically here, but both are valid in the schema and worth adding by hand for fields that matter.
JSON Schema Loosener
PASTE AN EXISTING SCHEMA
MAKE PARSE JSON RESILIENT TO MISSING OR NULL VALUES
Removes every "required" array and allows null on every property type, so the action stops throwing when a field is missing.
Adaptive Card Builder
TITLE, BODY TEXT, APPROVE / REJECT BUTTONS
OUTPUT CARD JSON FOR TEAMS OR APPROVALS
Paste this into a "Post card" action's Card body, or a Power Automate approval's custom card.
Flow Error Handler
RUN-AFTER SETTINGS, ERROR EXPRESSIONS
AND A NOTIFICATION BODY, FROM ONE SCOPE NAME
Structure your flow as a Try scope, then a Catch scope configured with "run after" set to these statuses on the Try scope.
HTML Table Styler
COLUMN HEADERS AND AN ACCENT Colour
BULLETPROOF INLINE-STYLED EMAIL TABLE
Paste into a "Send an email" action's HTML body. Replace placeholder cells with your dynamic content, or wrap the row in an Apply to each.
OData Query
ADD CONDITIONS, COMBINE WITH AND / OR
PLUS $select, $orderby, AND $top
This builds a single AND/OR group, not nested groups within groups. For deeper nesting, combine two of these queries manually.
D365 FetchXML Builder
DATAVERSE'S OWN QUERY LANGUAGE
NOT AN OData TRANSLATION, THE REAL SYNTAX ADVANCED FIND USES
Use this in a "List rows" action's Fetch XML Query field, a custom report, or the FetchXML tab of Advanced Find. Field operators here cover the common cases, FetchXML supports more (like-x, between, on-x) that you may still need to add by hand.
